The Ring...

How do you put one moment in time into words? When I look at this beautiful ring so many things said and so many feelings come to mind.

Justin and I met several years ago at work. He has the most amazing smile that is infectious. I found myself waiting everyday to see him even if only for a moment. We would talk share a few tidbits about our day and then I would sigh and think "tomorrow I will see him again even if only to catch a quick smile."

In May of 07 Justin made the career decision to move from sales into service. (my department :) We began to talk a little more, laugh a little more and look for reasons to make a quick phone call to hear each others voice.

My decision to play cupid in June worked out so much better than I ever could have expected...

We have an annual golf outing at work that we both were a part of. I got the pleasure of making the teams and the thought occurred to me "this is my chance for an entire day together" (and 30 something other coworkers:) This day was a day in history for Justin and I we had more fun than either of us could have even expected. At the end he asked me out on a date for the following weekend and so the story begins.

Many dates, holidays and shared moments have happened since then. I sit here and can't think of one experience that we've had together that I would change. We've had moments that have made us stronger, more honest and overall better individuals because we have each other.

There are moments that we sit and wonder how we could be so lucky. If this is what it is like to win the lottery we'll never need to play based on the fact that we've already won the big one, each other.

Now I know that this relationship isn't based on luck because we both have wonderful people in our lives that have prayed and guided us to this wonderful place in our lives.

Our hope is to continue this method with each other in prayer and to be each others guide into the next hundred years.
